Refurbished Klipsch & JBL Hi-Fi, Cinema and Professional speaker systems, restored to factory spec, and refinished to even better, in Sydney, Australia.
We reckon this is the best compact speaker in the world.
The Klipsch Heresy was originally introduced in ’57 as a center channel speaker to go between two Klipschorns in larger rooms. When Paul Klipsch came up with the idea and the design, people told him he couldn’t do it, that it was acoustic heresy. “The hell I can’t,” he said, “and that’s exactly what I’m going to call it.” The resulting Heresy was a 3-way, acoustic suspension (sealed) design with a horn tweeter, horn midrange, and a 12” accordion surround woofer. The design has remained largely intact ever since.
The Klipsch® Heresy™ speaker has been in production since then, and only modified four times since. This is the original, a true smoothie - it's literally half a Klipschorn (the treble section - eg; the highs and the mids) with a 12" low end woofer for enough punch down low. Effortless smoooooth listening down low, and if you wanna, crank it up and get the party REALLY started.
We source much loved boxes from all over the world, in all finishes - walnut, oak, unfinished pine plywood - whatever we can get our hands on. We then lightly sand and re-stain them (contact us for custom paint or stain colours!), and, if necessary, we restore the crossovers with Klipsch-approved kits. Each driver is tested and, if needed, re-coned or re-diaphragmed. It's giving old warhorses a whole new lease on life, and the result is a speaker for a third the price of the new unit, sounding almost as good and looking better. Yeeeessss.
Klipsch is known for their robust high-efficiency, low-distortion method that the genius/icon/legend Paul W Klipsch pioneered 76 years ago, and they haven't stopped doing it yet. This means you can power these speakers with a feather and they'll pound. We can hook you up with appropriate amplification with all the Airplay/Chromecast/Wi-Fi Multiroom you can handle for about $500AUD, which will work a treat with these, for starters.
We ship everywhere - just email for pricing.

What Klipsch said in 1981:
Quality sound system for theaters, homes and nightclubs; monitor for recording and broadcast studios; or other professional or serious amateur use where faithful reproduction is demanded.
The Klipsch Heresy® loudspeaker is a high-efficiency, low-distortion system covering a wide range of frequencies with an unusually smooth response. Bass range extends solidly from 50 Hz, usable to 45. In spite of the high quality, size has been brought to such a minimum as to classify this speaker as a "miniature" among speakers of this type. Although the woofer cavity is only 4.5 liters (1.6 ft.3), the response, range and efficiency equal or exceed systems of considerably larger size. This loudspeaker affords the same smoothness of response as the Klipschorn, but the bass cutoff is approximately 20 Hz higher.
